What do you say cashed, kicked, or blanked, or something else?

I was googling trying to figure out exactly where 'cashed' originates from. Didn't find anything astounding, just mostly that it's probably slang off of "I cashed my check at the bank", and then my check is no longer there, it's been "cashed out".

edit: I just realized, when you close out your drawer for the end of the night at a retail store, it's usually referred to as "cashing out", so "I'm cashing out and heading home". I see it as that, stretched into just generically "it's over". My two cents

  2. I like to say it's "beat"
