i cook my old lady dinner. only because she cant cook worth a shit, and im tryin to eat good. cant fuck up a sandwich though..

 

Right now nothing because I am single
But last time everything i did was so unappreciated I stopped
When we had an outing or date planned, I would always plan surprises along the way to make it fun for her and myself, half the time the bitch bailed out of the dates, or she would complain the whole time and ruin everything about the day
I would also do really nice things at home too, such as make nice dinners and have a fun movie/card board game night
Same as above, either bail an just want snacks and tv or would bitch and complain
So i stopped altogether
And she bitched and complained more

So fuck on doing nice things until I get a little in return

A working relationship usually can't be so one sided. My relationship is give and take, we both do a lot of little shit for each other all the time. She'll surprise me with stuff all the time, and likewise for me. She got us tickets for Blue Man Group on my birthday, and the other day she was gone to work all day and I was off, so I cleaned her apartment.

It's not stuff that we do every single day. Often enough that it's regular, but still surprising and neither of us have come to expect these things all the time.

In the last relationship I was in, I pretty much took care of everything financially, including supplying our smoke.

I also found ways, at least once a week, to surprise her by taking her to new or just beautiful places that she'd appreciate.

I was all about trying to help make new and memorable experiences.

I definitely succeeded.

 

I didn't do that much for my ex-gf... I got lazy and our relationship went to shit lol (won't happen again)... but she sure did a lot for me!

 

I scratch her head when she has trouble falling asleep.

I carry groceries in for her a lot of the time.

Always open the door for her when we are going into a place (never a car door though, not like it's our first date together).

Randomly tell her how beautiful I think she is.

I don't expect her to be the stereotypical wife that just cooks and cleans. She works hard during the day, just as I do. So I pitch in and help her with that type of stuff.

I'm sure there is more but I gotta go get supper ready.
