i also live in NC, they haven't started making noise constantly yet but i know they will soon... that, the humidity, and the mosquitos. i love the thunderstorms we get here though.
the summer gives me reason to live. it is the best. the weather here in california has been odd though and it feels more like this weird mix of fall and spring. In my mind, summer hasn't officially started yet.
The heat and humidity here in NC. My cousin said it felt hotter in NC than it did in California and NC usually stays below 100 degrees. It does however hit 100+ a few times though. The mosquitos and roaches can be a mother fucker as well.
I love summer but I have only one complaint: Fucking bugs. I need to start a frog breeding ground in my backyard, tie them to trees so they don't start trouble/escape, and train them to be masterful bug eaters. Then they'll get fat and I can fry up the frog legs. Yum!
The Humidity...Combine shitty humidity with 95 degree temps and you have yourself a living hell. I'd take 110 of dry heat any day over 95 and muggy.
