what do you do with the heel of a loaf of bread?

I make a sandwich with it.

My mom loves them so I leave them for her but otherwise I just eat them.

The crust pieces are the bomb.

 

I leave the end pieces in the baggy until they come together at the end...then throw them away!

 

I feed them to my kid.
If I have soup or stew or something to eat it with, I'll consider it... or toast it.

 

Well thats probably because you get real bread, and these *****s get that wonderbread shit maaan. I buy wonderbread and dempsters and that crap for toast, and i swear like wtf is that crust even real maan

 

If it's sandwich bread, I only like it if it's toasted.

If it's like delicious artisan kind of bread. The heel is the best frakking part!!!!!!!

Yeah man we get nothing but the rustic loafs/green chile bread from our local co-op.

Shit is soooo good I eat at least 4 pieces of toast a day.

my pops picks 2 fresh loafs of european bread every morning. the heel of that bread is super duper good!!, its so soft and crunchy at the same time. i usually put some butter and jelly in it, then i take some bong rips while the milk is warming up then i bite into heaven!
