  1. I think the vast majority of the responses will be from students, but there are some people who hold normal jobs here - i'd like to know what you all do. Nothing specific, but it would be cool to remind ourselves that tokers can be cops, they can be doctors, they can be teachers, they can be software engineers. Anyone interested in sharing?

I'm currently a student, but will be teaching high school in a couple of months.

  2. ya i'm a student, but i have worked for a living too. i worked for a landscaping company, a warehouse, a construction company, and a computer company. i have however, smoked and drank with a cop!

  6. I'm a full time student right now. But I work in production making circuit boards, when I do have a job. I was laid off and have found a new way to make some money so I'm going with being the lazy student right now. I know a few engineers, cops, and teaches that smoke too.

  7. lol Remind those Ladies that you are gainfully employeed! There's a lot to be said for that!

I've been working for the same company since I graduated college, just about 8 years. I work for a global business services firm. I'm in marketing research/business development. I started with my company in Texas and moved to one of their offices in D.C. My husband was recently transferred to VA Beach (3.5 hours from D.C.). My company lets me telecommute. So I happily work from home. Monday - Friday without anyone fucking with me. I am lucky and I love this gig. (But I do bust my ass for my employer. They are far too good to me to fuck it up.)

  8. I'm an IT Manager/Network Administrator by trade.

  9. my aunt (major stoner) telecommutes for her job, which has something to do with networking. since i stopped taking networking after cisco semester 4, i have no idea what she actually does, but i know she also busts her ass for them

oh, and don't be embarassed about McDonalds - I worked at a burger king all through high school and a little past that. once i had been there a little while, the pay was ok, andthe managers liked me so i got to pick my schedule. thats worth a lot
