what do you believe about 9/11 (poll)

  1. what is your beliefs about what happened on 9/11. i personally believe that there was direct government involvement and that 9/11 was indeed a false flag operation against the people to serve as a pretext for the passing of the patriot act, going to afghanistan, and the unlawful invasion of iraq.

the elements of 9/11 that the "conspiracy theorists" tend to focus on is

    1) the fact that the towers could not have collapsed in a perfectly symetrical way just by being hit by airliners because jet fuel does not burn hot enough to weaken the steel framed structure.

    2) wtc 7 collapsed as well in a perfectly symetrical fassion. and no plane hit it. the official story was that debree from the falling towers hit wtc 7, made it catch fire and then it collapsed as well. there are only three instances in history when steel framed buildings have collapsed from catching fire: wtc towers 1 and 2, and wtc 7.

    3) molten metal was found in the basements of all three buildings weeks after the attacks. the temperature of the metal was hotter than the temperature at which jet fuel burns.

    4) steve jones, top physics professor at brigum young university, claims that thermate (not thermite) was used to cut the pillars because it was found in soil samples taken from the wtc site.

    5) other things like norad standing down.

    6) another theory claims that a plane did not hit the pentagon for a variety of reasons and that it was a cruise missile.

there are probably 30 or 40 more reasons i could produce but in the interest of time i'll just post those because they are probably the most important.

a recent poll showed 94% of americans feel the bush admin misled the nation into war with iraq.
another recent poll showed 84% of americans do not believe the official 9/11 story and feel that they are being lied to.

do you feel like you have been lied to gc?

  2. We are always being lied to by our Government. With that being said, 9/11 did happen, it was an act of terrorism, the Government was not secretly behind it. And i'm really sick of hearing about these conspiracy theories. =/

  3. well the reason i posted this is because the 9/11 issue has been talked about thoroughly on gc i will admit, but i was wadering what percentage of the gc felt in each category

  4. I think that we are not getting all the details about what happened, but I don't think that the government did it.

  5. i don't think that even the American gov't is dumb enough to carry out an attack on their own people. it's just stupid
although, what they created was exactly what every gov't wants. they created fear.

  6. AMEN!

who are these assholes who think they know better than what our government tells us!

Sure, they've lied to us constantly, sure they knowingly deceive us on a daily basis. Sure, they're above the law and sure they've committed a vast amount of crimes.

But let's face it, why would they lie about 9/11? They wouldn't!

I'm with you all the way brotha!

    Viva la inner-party!

  7. I believe that the US government and the people who run it are souless, and would kill 3000 or 300000 americans in a second if they knew it could benefit them, which 9/11 deffinitely did.

With that being said, i havnt seen enough substantial evidince to believe one or the other. I think that the governemnt is deffinitely lying about what they knew, but i'm not confident enough to believe that it was deffinitely an inside job.

Edit: i'm also open to any third idea. Maybe it was a terrorist group, but one that the US has ties with so they blamed it on Al-queida. I'm truely undecided. But i dont think we know all the facts, and i think that we deffinitely have been lied to on some level.

  8. I believe it was orchistrated by an extremist muslim group that was manipulated, exploited, and enabled by certain people in powerful positions of our own government agencies.

  9. I believe we got two of our buildings blown the fuck up.

And I don't care much for anything beyond that; I keep the political world seperate from my life, they can have their scandals and wars.

All I know is people died, for some half assed reason. It doesn't matter who did or didn't do it or plan it, or who did or didn't act on it properly. People died, and no amount of paperwork stained with blood will bring them back.

  10. well i will say that i believe that we arent being told a lot of things. and i have seen my fair share of those alex jones videos and anti government stuff and that one called loose change. but having been in the military i have heard and seen things that are just a little odd and not many actually notice, and i know that a lot of the things done that day are possible to happen the way the government wants us to think but with the facts that are shown by all the different research and all that jazz. so over all i think the government is in on it. but i dont give a shit. its just people with money making their lives more interesting. also take a look at that new video about the london bombings. there is a bunch of wierd things about that too that dont seem to add up right.

  11. *sigh* an all too common viewpoint. apathy mixed with ignorance.

  12. rasta.... americans lost their backbone, will, and spirit, when it became illegal to even punch someone without getting locked up or sued..... that ended the age where people got what they deserved..... now to the general public, as long as their lives are still decent and good, they won't risk anything..... their too scared.... why mess up something good?

its a shame..... what ever happened to striving for betterment? we get our mtv, our mcdonalds and bwm's, and all of a sudden we lose our spirit to fight for all that we deserve.....

p.s. reguarding the poll, i definetly think the government is lieing, atleast on some level, what level and how much is a lie? i don't know... the true facts still haven't come out.... atleast clearly enough for me to make a truly informed decission.... i dont know if our government was in on it, or they simply aided and ignored the threat.... or what.... i dunno, alls i do know is, their assholes.... and rats

  13. Yo that's the kind of attitude that allows people to be tricked and exploited by their government. You can't just believe everything you hear because its the government. YOu even said yourself they constantly lie to you and there above the law and they commit tons of crimes.....soudns kind of related to the 9/11 theories...

  14. wish I had a bwm!

  15. lol crazy knee.... learn to recognize sarcasm dude... :) rasta was being extremly sarcastic in that post... heh

  16. Damage control. If those towers had fallen sideways (it looked like one was about to) it would have done even more damage, but they can't admit such things. Same goes with the plane taken down by the on-board "heros". I listened to CBC radio say it was being flown escort by two F-sumthin's and they were trying to establish radio contact, as it was happening, and then next thing I know it was passengers who brought it down, and Neil "aint singin' for pepsi" Young is singing "let's roll"AKA"this notes for U(.S.A.),".

Terrorism is using fear for political ends. No demands, therefore no terrorism. It was an act of war perhaps, but not one of terror. Plane hi-jackers have traditionally been terrorists, but not these ones.

  17. That's the most retarded thing I've read in a while. I am LMFAO....

*Insulting members are here does not float man. Either explain your views in an intelligent way, or dont at all.

  19. Well, if you disagree with his post why not tell him why he is wrong and give a constructive opinion rather than just calling his post retarted?

  20. The idea of a Government inflicting harm upon its own populace is not ludicrous, nor foolish. It happens all the time, it is happening all over the world in varying forms right now. It has happened at every given point in our history. So why would it be such a surprise to find out that a Government would attack its own people in an effort to bring about their agenda? An agenda no one would have agreed to, if an event like 9/11 had not occurred. Its logical, its simple, and given the fact that most Governments lie to their people constantly, why is it so hard to imagine they would commit other crimes against them?

And for a random act of terrorism, it sure did happen on the worst possible day for American security. I am sure the terrorists have huge spy networks within the American Government and were able to plan such an event down to the letter, due to their massive resources... That is much more likely.

You find enough evidence to convict a civilian, but not enough evidence to even hint at possible wrong-doings on the part of the Government, why?
