Hey All. Im new to the site and the industry. Started up months back and noww own about 10 strains Im going through to see what stays. Im growing in a hot mix and using Advanced Nuits. Seems like everytime u think u have it figured out you learn more and wanna switch it up. Im using a MH for veg but learning that lots of fellow growers are using the CFL and doing just fine in veg............ Also I am getting a lot of mixed feed back on IF PH is a big deal when using dirt? Im from Detroit ((D from the D) and our water is at 8pf
CFL's work fine for vegging. t5's work even better. I think pH becomes a problem if there is a drastic change in the pH. Like if you had a constant reading of 6.5 all the time, and then all of a sudden you're getting readings of 5.0 or 7.5, you may then experience nute lockout.
