We grew a garden, and I just threw a few seeds down and didn't expect anything to grow. I am a complete newbie, and just would like to know what you all could tell me about the plant. It's maybe 16 inches tall. Age? What's needed to make it happy. Thanks?
It never ceases to amaze me that people are surprised that a seed does exactly what millions of years of evolution have perfected it to do. Stop the presses, it's true -- seeds grow when you water them. That plant looks nice considering you obviously don't know what you're doing. Age is irrelevant, being ready for harvest is all that matters. You are nowhere near that, but you are on the way. This is an outdoor grow? Whereabouts you located? This is the time of year that outdoor plants should be fully mature and harvested in the northern hemisphere, that plant has several weeks to go at least, not sure if you'll make it before the frost kills them. Read, read, read. All good MJ growers are self-educated, and all you need to know is here at GC.
In the midwest, usa. Worried about moving the plant since the temps are starting to get down to 50 F at night, and my area will be getting near freezing soon. I would like to re-pot and bring inside.
definately repot and bring it inside. Also it looks like you have had some beasties chewing on your leaves so just check that you do not bring any insects in when you repot it. Looks like an indica dominat hybrid that has at least another 4 weeks to go, probably closer to 6.
So you don't know what strain that is? What a nice purple color! I wanna know what strain that is so I can get buds looking like that.
That could be any number of strains. The colour could be genetics or it could be down to the growing environment so that isn't much help either.
I will be working on re-potting this weekend. Will make sure not to bring the insects inside. Cannot wait to enjoy something from this little plants. Smells wonderful!
