So I'm growing for my first time since becoming a medical patient, and the strain that I've chosen is Girl Scout Cookies. I'm using a pretty simple "do-it-yourself" science kit that is most likely meant for classroom science experiments. Despite the intended use for this hydroponic station, it seems to be working great for Cannabis. The buds are much more prominent now and the plant itself is around 4-5 feet tall. So here are my questions: how much longer from this point should I expect it to keep growing? how big are the buds supposed to get? Those are my biggest questions, the rest I'm sure I can find around the forums. Here is a current picture of my plant:
What do you mean by 12/12. And the lighting is completely natural. I have no "special" lights. There's a sun roof in the ceiling and lots of windows.
You put your lights on a 12 hour light and 12 hour complete darkness so it triggers the plant in thinking it's autumn and starts to flower. Most strains need to be under that 12/12 regime for around 9-14 weeks before it's harvest time If your using the sun and your in the northern hemisphere and you do not disturb the dark period you will be most likely harvesting around middle to late October
Thanks! You hit the nail on the head with the answer I was looking for. I haven't disturbed the 12/12 until recently actually, so it's nice to know that I should leave it alone.
