Have any of you Tokers ever noticed how your packages always come in the afternoon? At least mine do. Always after 3 PM. Even at my old house they never came early, I always check the tracking online and it will say out for delivery at 7:43 AM or some early time. I know I'm not the only person getting a package today but.... I want my new jazz guitar picks I saw the fedex guy go speeding past my house too!
They have to pick all of the packages up from a warehouse after they are scanned and then drop them all off according to a route. You also have to include where the closest warehouse kind of thing is. Mine is about an hour and thirty minutes from my house ( The place is in the Atl) and traffic.
Mine come in the afternoon or evening, with the exception of a few times. I live about 30 miles, in a different city, from the shipping facility. Many parcels to deliver between the facility and the time they get to my house.
yeah all they have to do is drop them off.. my facility is 30 miles away too. which by my calculations, they should haver been here hours ago.. Especially since i saw the guy go speed past my house, he's just gonna have to come back this way.

I was just wondering if anybody gets their parcel at say 10AM , cause I never have, both places I've lived....

Yeah, I actually ordered a few of my text books off amazon this year. A few of them arrived really early because the delivery guy woke my ass up
they leave the facility, and go to the furthest destination and make their way back.... closeness to facility means you wait the longest in that jurisdiction hahaha i get my shit at like 9 AM when i order via fed ex....
I live half way down this long-ish island(not NY). I can wait because it's just guitar picks and strings. It's just kinda funny how it is..

they probably see people smoking bowls and people drinking all the time while driving. My dad was a truck driver and he would see a lot of stuff being that high up. But once he found a used condom in a Kmart parking lot, don't have to be in a truck to find that.
UPS employees work hard as shit. The time it gets to you depend on the priority of the package and how busy they are. I had a package FedEx'd overnight a few weeks ago and there were two options I think. Delivery by 10:00AM which was a little more expensive and delivery by 3:00 which was still expensive (not too bad considering 2,000 miles in 24 hours for $25). And it showed up at about 2:59....
