Ive bEen trying to have a successful harvest. Everytime I get close to harvesting, the buds get to looking good...they seem dry and nothing like the ones I seeds seem dry and not moist...its in peoples journals. My buds seems like they are drying on the plant itself and ive been monitoring trichomes and they aint started to barely turn amber hardly yet but I thught the buds should feel moist and not dried out. Also plants dont smell at all hardly, I thought they were supposed to have an odor. ... I dont understand whats goin wrong. I dont have the most professional set up but its ok. I am using a typical linen closet with s 150w hps, oceans floor soil, advanced nutrients simple a n b, temp is not an issue as I have my a/c in there as well as a 6inch oscillating fan. Am I just not waiting long enough or what. I just want a successful harvest . I got 4 plants in there and I just know my stuff ainr turning out right...anyone got a clue why im havin a hard time?
What is the relative humidity in the grow area? Maybe too low if the buds are drying out on the stem?
I'd say you will be fine...Some strains produce hard dense buds that feel dry but, are not. Your not going to know until you harvest and properly cure what the odor and taste will be. Usually when the lights first come on is the best time to get a whiff of odor by gently squeezing a bud... Lower humidity in flowering will indue the plant to produce more resin as a safe guard...
