My plants always seem to have thin stocks. Not stupidly thin. But they’re not nice an thick. But if I move them they sway quite a bit. Is it strain dependant, or lacking something in nutrients? I keep fans on them and keep in good soil
Airflow will make stocks stronger. So like a fan blowing across your plants. They will thicken to withstand the gusts.
Good genetics and strain types can play a difference, but as @Sade mentioned: good airflow and a slight breeze will strengthen the roots, branches, and the stem!
Silica will do the trick to thicken your stems. Wind can only do so much. The rest comes from nutes and supplements. Silica blast is what I use and there’s a major difference in plants with and without silica additives. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
