Only on 1 of 4 plants from same water system. I didn’t spill anything on it. I did notice that when lifting a couple leaves, there was water/condensation between the leaves...that was bout a week ago. What would that be? I’m guessing it’s related. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Heya buddy, what are you feeding them, what's the ppm and pH of the reservoir set to and what do the numbers do during those 4 days. Do they go up or down? Also what are the res temps like and have you had any nasty smells or gunk. Just covering all the bases. Should be an easy fix. Not entirely sure what it is tbh, phos def maybe. Ive had it once in coco but was near the end so I never bothered. I'll go look to see what it is but answer that lot in the meantime and I'll know how to fix it anyway.
Yeah just double checked and sure it is phos def. Can't think of anything else it could be anyway. Could be a few reasons for it though so I'll wait till you answer to find a solution. I could be wrong but I'll figure it out. You said same water system, what exactly is it? Rdwc, Wilma etc.
I think you answered your own question. It's condensation. This happens to me occasionally when humidity gets too high during lights out. The speckles probably happen when moisture off of a wet leaf blows onto other leaves. The more solidly discolored places happen between leaves that got close together and the condensation wasn't blown away. Greater air flow and lower humidity during lights out can prevent this. It's surprising that a leaf can be damaged by its own secretions.
Can it really get that bad mate? I've had minor damage from sweating but never anything like that. I've had bad p def before that looks like that but a bit worse hence my thinking that's what it is.
