What can you post on a marijuana Website

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by erickillebrew, Feb 13, 2010.

  1. Hello everyone,

I'm interested in making my own website about marijuana, culture, ect.

I was wondering what are the legal limits of what can be posted on the website, example can i post tutorials on how to make homemade pieces? or would that be illegal? what else is a No-No when making a marijuana based website?

    Thank you in advanced :hello:

Well, technically, anything MJ related is illegal, including cultivation, paraphanelia, use/misuse, dealing...the list goes on.

Just don't give your name, address, phone number, etc...anything personal, really. You've got a lot of rights regarding freedom of speech, but if anything can be tied back to you (such as pipes being made/sold in your name, dealing, your face next to your plant) you could be busted for it...it all depends on who's watching.

Oh, when it comes to pieces, you can claim it's for tobacco use only like so many head-shops get away with.

  3. Honestly, it really depends on where your hosting is. Look for hosting outside of the US(or whatver country you're from), if for no other reason than the fact that it complicates legal issues. For the most part you should be good outside of that. Might wanna take steps to obscure your identity though.

  4. Hmm are there loopholes, example saying for medical use only with a disclaimer before you enter? or somthing of that nature? cause i plan on making affliate links to grasscity so i can earn some money so i cant remain completly anonymous.

  5. Ok thank you very much how would i go about obscuring my identity?

  6. How about using fake names/email/address? ;)

  7. ya make an alias

  8. If you have a domain you must provide legit info as to who owns the domain.
If you post to a host and the content violates their rules, they can delete your content and 404 your site.

If you live in the USA, your site may bring some unwanted attention, but you can say anything as long as it doesn't incite riots or violence...pictures though could be used against you.
