I recently made a homemade water bong and I want to know what is safe to use for a bowl. I am aware that using aluminum and tin foil are bad. Although, I found a little rubber piece in my garage and it fits perfectly on my pipe. I want to know if it safe to have a RUBBER bowl to smoke from. If not, I have a few sockets that I could use, but the thing is that the they are a bit to big for my pipe and I was wondering how I could get that tightly sealed onto my pipe if the socket should have to be my only option. aluminum foil aint bad to use. dont use the rubber. socket is the best way to go. idk how you made your bong but you can use a piece of chewed gum or some glue to seal the crack around the socket piece and wherever you stick it
If you know where a bong/head shop is near you just go buy one. You can get a metal one for like 2 dollars. But stay away from that rubber, use aluminium foil if you have to, just make sure you use the non-shiny side and you should be fine. You could even put some aluminium foil inside one of your socket pieces and poke some tiny holes, that should do fine as well.
DUDE, IT'S RUBBER. That shit will kill you man.... Please go make a aluminium can bowl or a socket bowl or something. Ditch the rubber man, seriously.
A lot of blades on here give aluminum negative rep, and that's all well and fine. But in a situation like this, foil is a life saver. Sometimes you don't have enough green for a rolling paper and want the conservation of a bowl, but depending on life circumstances may not be very possible. Anyway, start saving money. It should be like ten or fifteen for a basic bowl at your headshop. And for now ... idk, lol.
