Hello everyone I have a goal of 750 grams! Things I cannot change in my grow -miracle grow soil -3 plants. I know I know miracle grow, but I'm trying to prove something with it. Also I cannot change the amount of plants. I can change the lights, size of pot, and room it's growing in. I can add nutrients and such. I'm growing 3 holy grail plants under 1000 watt hps. They are in a room 2.5 feet wide 3.5 feet deep and 6.5 feet tall. 2 feet from lights. What can I do to get the most from this grow? I need any advice I can get This grow is funding the next one which will be handled with better material. My minimum goal is 500 grams but really looking for 650-800 Thanks for any input love Dan Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Edit- I may be willing to switch out miracle grow if there no hope for it. Would it be too late to switch if I just dropped the plants in two days ago? They were clones from different soil Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Hey correct me. I was trying to use this one slightly differently than the last. I understand not to double post I apologize I didn't think about that when making this I just thought this one was worded better Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
The last one was about telling you what I am doing this one is about asking for advice and help but I totally understand what you are saying they are basically the same I apologize Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Look up some growing threads and take some advice from what they post. There's a lot of good stuff in there.
What are you gonna prove with miracle grow? That it sucks? Post a pic of the show. You got proper ventilation for that 1000? Are you growing from proven clones? You want to grow 1/2 pound plants indoors....that not easy even for thr most experienced. You need a dialed in strain, massive pots, amazing soil or a dialed in nute regime, and a very long veg. with extensive training? Do you have a separate veg. Space?
Rzo- I just took them from there cups and put them in miracle grow can I still switch them? I am going to I think Should I just get them a grow tent? Picture incoming Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I believe the reason they look sad Like that is the miracle grow. I had better just get good soil now. Shall I get a tent? 4x4x6? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
First advice would be to fill the darn pots up regardless of soil! Nothing worse than seeing a newbie with half empty pots. Why someone would need to prove anything with MG is beyond me. I admit my very first grow many many years ago was with MG. But only because I didn't know any better and the internet was not invented yet! Yes I grew a very nice plant with it but the point that there is much better options out there negates the need to run MG for any reason.
It really pays to educate yourself on proper soil mixes. I understand that your resources are limited but if you know what to look for and where to look for it, you can amend just about any pest-free soil into something really decent. Here's a link on mixing your own soil, even if you're just amending bagged soil from walmart you can still take away some useful info from this thread: https://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/111655...
Hey could you check out my newer post see what you think Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Your plants are small and the roots wont take up the pot. You should be able to dig around and under, being careful not to damage the roots. I grow with a homemade supersoil, no chems. You can make a mix fairly easy or there are some other prebagged options out there that are better. Lots of nice, friendly people in the organics section and some good reading on soils. Plus nothing smoother than organics! You are a long ways away from your goal, but if you dont get realistic, you will only end up with dissappointment.... Better soil, start in smaller pots and transplant up, get a separate tent/cab to veg. So you can rotate crops fast.
Hey rzo. Check out my new post I have gotten new clones and re done everything and got a tent for the first 2 months of veg Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Don't think it's gonna happen. That's over half a pound per plant. I get two pounds off 1000 watts. 6-8 plants, 5 gallon pots Growstone Growmix #4, GH Flora Series with Heavy 16 supplements. Not Miracle Grow.
