What backing board should I use for 2 240 watt drivers.

    I cannot find any fireproof boards to mount my drivers to my sheet rock (with 2 x 4 mounting rails to screw board into).
    I can find gypsum boards but nothing else.
    What do you guys use to mount your drivers to? What material?

    Something metal and that helps disperse the heat from them.

    You can get a piece of sheet metal (aluminum) for a fireproof board. Cheap, too.

    I ended up taking that advice. Putting things in place now.
    I will post on this new Chinese light once I put juice to it.
    So far it looks nice. Thank you both!

    Did it. Works great. The heats does dissipate quite nicely.
    Mounted things so I can put up a few more driver panels.
