Nas - Untitled 5. Three 6 Mafia - Last 2 Walk The first two on my list are on a way higher level then the last three.
Out of the thousands of rap artists, I'm sure you could find plenty to cater to your tastes. Sure mainstream rap was terrible this year, but check out a few of the names you don't know from taRavage23, he's got a solid list.

Killer Mike's new album was pretty awesome, as was the new Atmosphere album (although it wasn't quite on par with what they usually make)
I'm going to have to disagree. The vocoder makes him sound like every other mersh artist. College Dropout is his only solid album IMO.

I'd agree with that. I'm a Kanye fan, but that's the only album I really listen to, it's pretty tight. Did anyone else like Hell Rell's new album? I thought it was good, not big on Dipset, but Rell is pretty good imo.

Ludacris- Theater of the Mind 4. Three 6 Mafia- Last 2 Walk 5. Immortal Technique- 3rd World before you say something about C3 being number 1. Yes its overrated. yes its way over hyped. but that shit was a solid album.
