Hello everyone. I was hoping to start this thread to find out what the standards are for room temps and humidity for veg and flower. I'm currently at 85 for room temp and 20-30% humidity. From what I've read my humidity is low but I havent noticed anything negative from the humidity being low. What signs should I be looking for to indicate the girls need a more humid environment? My rooms stay at 80F and 45% RH. My plants never cared, set up pans of water with pea gravel in them to set pots on if you want to raise it. you wont notice low humidity till the plant is wilting then you just water it.
Thanks for the input snoop. Its funny how you mention the plants wilting because I have at least one or two of my 14 girls that wil be very wilted every time i need to water. Its to the point that I'm watering each with 1-2 liters to keep them from drying out. I'm guessing the dry air must be pulling all the water into the air so dast which causes me to have to water daily. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Give hydro a try some time. I left 4 plants for a week with no water and it was 3 gallons low in a 5 gallon but doing fine. DWC is super simple.
I've always been interest in hydro but it seems very touchy and a lot of monitoring which I can't do since I'm out of the house for 12+ hours a day for work so it would be very hard to watch. Really would like to try a organic grow with a water only recipe. Idk yet. 2nd grow with ffof and things are going great just have to balance ph all the time.
