What are the laws for edibles? Also are glycerin tinctures considered edibles?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by mambugaw, Aug 29, 2012.

  1. I have a question. What are the laws if you happen to get caught with edibles.

Also is a glycerin tincture technically an edible or concentrate? Or both?

If you could be state specific to CT that would be great.

    Thanks in advanced.

  2. First question: Who can tell a difference between a weed snack and a regular snack?

    The other 2 idk

  3. smell?

  4. Naw I've had cops accuse me of having edibles when in reality they were just brownies in a bag my mom had sent me AGES ago that I never even ate. They were all moldy and everything. It was quite funny after they accused me of them being pot brownies and then turned over the bag to see it all moldy and gross.

  5. Dude, clean your shit out once in a while. :D

  6. i love moldy brownies.
    oh wait..
    i mean cheese
    :bongin:
    wut?

  7. I think they are still illegal. Otherwise everyone would just eat brownies

I think he meant to ask if the law for edibles is harsher than for normal possession of weed. :smoke:

  9. I'm pretty sure concentrates are felonies? It's manufacturing instead of just possession I believe?

Arrested with concentrated cannabis, need help please (Page 1) - Legal Empowerment Zone - ASA Forum

Criminal Attorney Malibu - DUI Malibu - Michael Shultz

You may be able to get off saying the concentrates are 'legally' marijuana, "CONCLUSION
Concentrated cannabis or hashish is included within the meaning of “marijuana” as that term is used in the Compassionate Use Act of 1996." (Arrested with concentrated cannabis, need help please (Page 1) - Legal Empowerment Zone - ASA Forum)

Apparently non-ICE hash/concentrates are illegal but count as marijuana, butane hash and the likes are in a different category and with the few quick searches I did I can't find any solid evidence to tell you what the actual laws are.

Hopefully the info or the links posted help lol
