You feel happy, hungry and sometimes, sleepy. Food tastes better. Music moves you more. Comedies are hilarious and nature shows are awesome. Creativity is enhanced. I occasionally write news articles for a small newspaper while stoned (although I have to go over them later to correct minor grammar errors). I designed several of my prize-winning quilts while stoned. In “Cannabis and Creativity” (Psychology Today), they found that “cannabis produces psychotomimetic symptoms, which in turn might lead to connecting seemingly unrelated concepts, an aspect of divergent thinking considered primary to creative thinking. A drug induced altered state of mind may indeed lead to breaking free from ordinary thinking and associations, thereby, increasing the likelihood of generating novel ideas or associations.” Cannabis and Creativity IQ is not affected after the high wears off. I read medical studies while stoned and have no problems understanding them. Important facts stay in my head, but I'll forget what I went into the kitchen to get. The "Dunedin" study that prohibitionists use to claim that cannabis lowers IQ was badly flawed- “Although it would be too strong to say that the results have been discredited, the methodology is flawed and the causal inference drawn from the results premature.” From Correlations between cannabis use and IQ change in the Dunedin cohort are consistent with confounding from socioeconomic status. (PubMed) Correlations between cannabis use and IQ change in the Dunedin cohort are consistent with confounding from socioeconomic status “However, among frequent marijuana smokers, marijuana intoxication actually improves attention and concentration, suggesting that the effects of marijuana on attention and concentration is mediated by neurobiological adaptations in the brain.” From “An evidence based review of acute and long-term effects of cannabis use on executive cognitive functions.” (2011) An Evidence Based Review of Acute and Long-Term Effects of Cannabis Use on Executive Cognitive Functions Hope that helps to answer your question. Depends. For heavy users the effects are limited. Infrequent users become what scientists call "fucked up" after consuming Sent from my SM-G960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I consume a lot of weed !! The next day I feel very bad about my body and my mental health. I used marijuana for medical problems. In the last 3 months, I used weed for the first time after saying the mymmjdoctor.
Do you feel ok? Weed triggers psychosis in some people. After 3 months of heavy use you should know if you are good or not It can also cause anxiety and depression in some people. Personally, when I use heavily, I feel numb, lifeless. Almost like a zombie. I won't feel very happy anymore, just numb. But only if I consume heavily for days nonstop. Thankfully I rarely consume heavily. Usually just one small dose at night for me It does disrupt your REM sleep. Sleep is very important, so having that messed with isn't good. It also messes with your digestive system by blocking acid re-take. Our digestive system plays a big role in our mental health, some even argue it controls our mood. So this is another way weed affects you mentally. If you consume heavily for long enough, it can cause a horrific condition called CHS where you basically vomit relentlessly ALL DAY LONG whenever you are exposed to cannabis. If you are under 25, research suggests that it messes with your brain development, essentially making you dumber for the rest of your life. These are some ways it affects you mentally. There may be more ways, but I can't think of them right now. Sent from my SM-G960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Psychotic behavior. Extreme aggression. Thoughts/plans of suicide and or hurting others. Impotency. Complete memory loss.
if you consume a lot and after that feel like PICS then please go to your doctor's checkup. Or you can schedule an online meeting on mymmjdoctor website.
I definitely think lots of marijuana smoking turns people into aliens and I'm against all cannabis consumption.
