What are the effects of high CBD weed?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by JustAnotherToker, Feb 7, 2014.

  1. Did anyone try the high CBD strains? I was wandering what the effects are.

I saw strains on sale that have 7% THC and 7% CBD and I was curious how do the effects compare to regular weed.

Considering my only option to try this strain is to buy seeds and grow it I wanted to hear if anyone tried it and how does it compare to regular weed.

One of the biggest differences is that cannbidiol (CBD) does not carry the psychoactive properties of THC. But CBD is highly medicinal and currently being used for many conditions and diseases. There are groups who prefer to medicate without the strong "high" after-effects. I also read an article today about a merger between two top companies to create a nutritional supplement line with cannabidiol. Yes they are starting with sales only to qualified medicinal patients but it is very interesting nonetheless. An indicator of the future of health supplements!

Although very effective medically, "High CBD" cannabis is a weak high!  Only the THC is getting you high. The most CBD does for your head is to get you calm!  So if you are looking for a different kind of cannabis high, CBD is not it! If you are looking for a nonpsychoactive way of stopping seizures, lessening the neuropathy, retinopathy and cardiomyopathy  of diabetes, or preventing the growth of certain cancers, CBD is what you are looking for!
