I just started working at a movie theater, it's corporate and has the most conservative dress code I have ever seen. Guys can't have hair longer than about 3 inches and zero tolerance for piercings/tats/colored hair. I don't want to ask the manager if they drug test because that would draw attention to it and stuff. One of the managers basically said don't come to work high, but with all these rules and having corporate resources, I just can't believe they wouldn't drug test.. I'm clean right now, but I'm just dying to start smoking weed again. Should I wait a week or two or do movie theaters not drug test?
If they didn't require you to test upon accepting the job offer I doubt they will randomly drug screen you. Never heard of a movie theater doing such. I could be wrong though. Corporate huh...may I ask exactly which movie theater you speak of?
Chances are the only way they will test you is if you get hurt on the job. Even then it's not a given. I'd say you are safe.
