What are the best strains for anxiety?

  1. Story:  
    Recently (3 days ago) I discovered I have General Anxiety Disorder (GAD). I think I have been
    dealing with it for years now without knowing it because I have had so many of the symptoms for as long as I can remember. How I came to realize my GAD was quite interesting and unsettling to say the least. After my first time spending the ENTIRE weekend high, i began to experience very intense symptoms of anxiety after the come down. I had NO IDEA what was happening, but long story short, being high and relaxed for so long was what made me finally start noticing the symptoms that I've been dealing with for years. I had been dealing with a mental disorder for years without ever having known about it. Anyway, that's my story, now for my question.
     
    Question:
    My question is what are the best strains for treating anxiety? Specifically GAD if it makes a difference. I read some stuff about CBD being the most beneficial while THC may not be? Anyway, I'd love to hear personal experience, stories, and advice on what strains are the best for treating anxiety and if constant medication at low doses is effective... Any and all info is greatly appreciated!
     
     

     
  2. India's are high in cbdi have very high anxiety I recommend something mellow like super skunk though if you can find it. Or GDP. I'm smoking organic white OG sativa Dom and organic purple kush indica Dom at the moment both give me a lot of anxiety though so try super skunk

  4. weed generally intensifies my anxiety unless its some serious kush 
     
  5. Best bet is to figure out the correct dosage to function comfortably in public. If you over smoke and head out it might actually be worse.

    So just play with how much you consume before leaving the house. Eventually you'll find that sweet spot and walk around without a care in the world.
