What are the benefits of growing weed?

    The benefits I gain are for my head. I find organic gardening in general soothing to my mind - it's a very peaceful and rewarding hobby.

    Well growing my own keeps my money in my pocket instead of supporting drug gangs or terrorists.
    Plus the fact that I know exactly what strain it is and that it ain't been screwed with!

    Well after calculating it I spend about 50 cents a gram if I grow it but if I buy it it cost about 20$-15$ a gram

    Just like Jerry said, gardening is my therapy. A lot cheaper than a shrink, and a lot cheaper than buying shitty, overpriced smoke.

    Fifteen to twenty dollars a gram? Wow - I've been out of circulation a long time I guess...lol I honestly can't remember the last time I bought any buds, but I bet it was over ten years ago.

    I believe I bought my first ounce back in the late 70's for $40.00.

    It's gone up! Lol
