im about to get some tomorrow, im tired of this shitty blown out ipod earphone...... im looking for some that i can play loud and wont blow out, for the 40 dollar range..
Get some nice in-ear buds. The ones that have rubber and go in further than normal ones. Not sure on brands, but that's the type you want.
go with Bose there the best cancels all outside noise. Perfect sound , pricey tho but they last along time.
I have Sony in-ear headphones, the ones that look like little mushrooms, which were £20 and they give the best sound clarity at the price range with some natural sound cancellation (as it makes a tight seal) and has great bass depth which is awsome for when you're stoned. Like.. when I listen to music it on them it blows my mind in a way my stereo can't capture. Definately a good investment IMO, beats the HELL out of those crummy standard ones they give you with mp3 players.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDREX3...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1204703424&sr=1-12 thats what I'm using atm
more like, DONT GET BOSE. http://digg.com/hardware/Why_Bose_Sucks! Get either Sennheiser mx400s or mx450s or Koss KSC-35s or KSC-75s. GREAT BUDGET EAR PHONES.
No no no no no no NO, bose is overpriced SHIT people need to realize that. Also generally Sony is not your best bang for your buck either, really I would just stretch for Sennheiser C00's, those are the cheapest quality IEMs sold.
I got some skull kandy headphones for $14.99 (originally $24.99 or something like that) and their by far my favorite headphones i've had I blast them on my ipod all the time and they have yet to blown out
Shure are very good, but if your on a budget I got these Philips ones that work AMAZING for only $20.
I'm a huge audio guy and I cannot even explain the animosity I hold towards bose. When I worked at circuit city it cost us literally 79 cents to replace the piece of shit speaker driver for the bose 301 bookshelf speakers.. But anyway onto headphones. Check out Seinheiser, specifically their DJ headphones. The cheaper ones are still amazing, provide great bass output, and will go loud for ya. The Bose headphones are one of the few things Bose does right... however I'm pretty sure Grado and Sein have similar products for about a hundred less.
Check out headphone.com which goes to a store called 'headroom' they have a huge selection of headphones, they only carry stuff they have tested for quality, and they personally thoroughly review every single headphone they carry. I got my q-jays from them.
