I see them in descriptions of bongs, and I don't know what they are. Milliform isn't even in the dictionary. Just Google "image milliforms" and see what I'm talking about.
Yea they are millefiori or milli for short. No such thing as what you are looking for. Millis have little images on them
So what is it saying, that it's a bong with an image on it? Painted? I don't understand. And I'm not looking for anything, it's just that 2-3 sites have this listed in the description of some of their bongs. I just wanted to know what it means.
What do you mean look it up there are pictures? Of what, the bongs? Ya, I know, but what am I looking for? I don't see anything that screams "image milliforms", which I don't even know what that refers to. And there absolutely is painted glass, usually it's a weed leaf that's painted on. And since I don't know what this image millifiora is, I'm taking shots at anything I can think of that would differ from just a regular ass bong with colors/designs in it.
The labels aren't made of paint bro lol... A milli is basically a tiny image. Everyone of those little flowers is a millefiori.
I just wanted to know what it meant. I find it very odd that in the description of some of their bongs, it's saying it has "little images" I guess is what you're saying? So it means nothing then pretty much. I was just making sure it wasn't saying that it's printed (stickers) etc., or somehow a feature of some kind. Not my fault these sites don't know how to spell fiori and instead say forms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millefiori Do you want me to show you a bong that in the description says PAINTED leaf? As in, hand painted. They're rare, I agree, but I've seen hand painted leaves on bongs. Also, I know, some are clear stickers, I have 2 glass bongs in my closet right now that have sticker weed leaves on them that I got from here.
Millis are little pieces of glass that Have images in them wether it be characters, or designs whatever. The glass artist will take those and connect them to whatever piece they see fit to add a little spice.
How do they get the color into the glass anyways? Is it just other pieces of colored glass mixed into the clear?
THANK YOU! Was that so hard? Seriously smilyagent, this is ALL I wanted to know. This makes 100% sense, unlike what you said to me, which was condescending and not even correct (at least not when talking about bongs), but yet you made it sound like I was a dumbass and you knew what they were. Clearly you didn't. BTW, now I know what those massive bulbs are on some bongs with pictures in them; they're gigantic millis.
ok change your post. I posted 4 days ago a oil rig i made with a milli on it. Why even try to argue, i make these for a living and know much more about it then you do. I have about 100 grams of millis I use them everyday, you just dont know how to search on google
Heres some more education for you. The bigger round things you see on pieces are most likely marbles. Millies tend to be smaller with more complex intricate designs/art work in them. Marbles usually have some work just not the same intricate stuff
Smily was correct in what he said, he gave you the proper spelling with the intention that you could then google that and learn about it on your own. He wasn't trying to make you sound like a dumbass, he was trying to get you to look it up on your own. And yes, I can agree that the "did you even read what I posted" part was condescending, but in his defense you still continued to use the wrong term after he had corrected you. Next time just don't be a dick, even if you think he is being a dick to you. There was no reason to bring up that whole second paragraph where you try to rip on smily. Good vibes man, keep shit positive here.
My bad about the "did you even read what I posted" i was on my iphone in a rush and im with mada, keep the peace
