So it is day 17 since my plant has sprouted. It has started getting these little brown spots on the leaves and the newer leaves are starting to go downwards. Also I think I'm starting to notice it being a lighter color green but I'm not sure. I'm just trying to figure out what could be causing this and how I can fix it. Thank you for any help! I'm watering it at least once a day, usually in the morning or at night if I forget. I have not seen any bugs around, since it's in my closet. I'm using 4 23W 5000K cfls. Once a day is likely too much unless you're just spritzing the soil . At that size I water maybe once every 5-6 days. My best guess is that you have nutrient lockout due to overwatering or an off PH. Most likely drowning it. Be kind. Perfect your craft. Give more than you take. We are family.
First things first, anyone telling you that your ph should be under 6.3, is a class A idiot. Secondly, you're drowning the damn thing. Until the soil is dry, don't water it. What it needs: a bigger pot, something to eat & more light. I don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but with only those bulbs, you're really only wasting time. You might luck up and get 1 gram after it dries. Growing good cannabis isn't as easy as set it and forget it. You get out what you put in. It seems as if you're on a limited budget...so, go on Amazon, buy these things: A GOOD (not cheap) pH meter - $75 Advanced nutrients grow A/B - $30 250w MH/HPS w/ hood - $100 Remember, you get out what you put in, so if you want shitty weed, keep doing what you're doing. I dont think lighting is the issue. Almost 90 watts cfl is aok for that seedling. It aint the light causing the issue at hand. I just assumed he would be adding light. If not then agreed wasting time. And op i apologize. I dont ph nor use cal mag so was bad advice anyway.
