^ Yeah, I was wondering where the immediate and loud bang was following the flash of lightning. I've had a bolt of lightning strike a telephone pole inches from a fence I was behind. One of the loudest noises I've ever heard in my entire life. It followed immediately after the bolt.
That same shit happened to me when I was a kid man, fuckin lightening crashed down on the ground like 3 feet away from me. It was intense.
i live in key west its a small island in florida, and during hurricane season june-october/november i will go to the pier that goes maybe 100 yds out in the water and just sit on the pier wall smoke a blunt and watch the storms roll in you can see it roll in from miles and miles cuz its just water ive seen water spouts, waves cover the whole floor of the pier i love thunderstorms and hurricanes the ocean breeze picks up the light gray clouds cover the island in shade and within 10-20 minutes you can tell the tourists downtown that it will be raining shortly
<-----Was 3 feet from a strike It was right next to the house - outside the window I had my nose glued to I remember hearing a stike close by so I went to the second story window to see if I could see where it had hit. Next thing I know I hear this electrical buzz - like really loud, then I see this bolt of light in front of my face probably about the size of my forearm - It was all like BBZZZZZZZZZZ-FLASH-KRACKKKKK!!BOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM Litterally right in front of my face I was fuckin stunned I stumbled backwards and fell over, got up ran downstairs, where my GF at the time was like "Holy fuck! That was close!" Im white as a ghost and like "uh uh uh there, face in front, window - here me - holy fuck!" lol Ever since then lightning storms make me nervous
You aint fuckin kiddin The buzzzzzzzz was what freaked me out before the KRACK! As soon as I heard that I remember thinking WTF is that? Then seeing the bolt in front of my face - Then the krack and BOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM
yea first 18 years of my life i hated it down here literally nothing for kids to do unless you own a boat.. but then i left the island for gainesville first year of college and moved back after spring semester never realized how good i had it down here.. no one gives a shit
It sounds nice and relaxing. I would be frustrated with nothing to do down there though. I would just love some real storms every now and then.
i love storms, not so much rain but its always awesome when i gets real real dark and cloudy and its so quite. No birds or anything. You know shits about to drop
Looks to me like an optical illusion, there's no way lightning struck anywhere near and wouldn't have caused an immediate shock wave (thunder). So he's not really "lucky" to be alive Cool vid anyways, though. I love watching thunderstorms
