  1. Hey guys, I live in Florida. I just got a ticket for possesion, what am I looking at here? I know I am obviously going to have to pay some fines, but am I going to have to do any drug classes or testing at all?

  2. I got busted with 3 grams.

  3. i would believe you would also have to do some classes. dont hold me on that

  4. Drug court... which will be some classes and some testing... but you don't have to pass all your tests, just a certain number. I used to live in Florida and had a friend who went through this multiple times. You may have to quit for a bit.

    Look up Drug Court, though.

  5. Mandatory minimum sentence: When someone is convicted of an offense punishable by a mandatory minimum sentence, the judge must sentence the defendant to the mandatory minimum sentence or to a higher sentence. The judge has no power to sentence the defendant to less time than the mandatory minimum. A prisoner serving an MMS for a federal offense and for most state offenses will not be eligible for parole. Even peaceful marijuana smokers sentenced to "life MMS" must serve a life sentence with no chance of parole.

    That was from:Florida - NORML

I'm sure this is not that useful, just the max you could get.

  6. Damn, does that mean probation too?

  7. Most likely you'll have to walk the high plank into the red sea, filled with man eating sharks and stingrays. That's only if you get judge O'Conner. OIIIII

  8. It's a type of probation... you'll have to go to classes on certain dates and pass drug tests on certain dates, but they're not gonna put a collar on your ankle or anything and you won't get into more trouble if you commit another crime (minus a possession offense.)

It's just some bullshit you'll have to deal with... but at least your not going to jail.

  9. Yea, Im just worried about my job, its really going to suck if im going to have classes i have to get to a couple times a week.
