What’s wrong with my girl?

  1. Hello everyone. First post here, I usually lurk on reddit but I’m in a bit of a jam and I’m getting mixed answers.
I have a day 52 from seed Blueberry Auto. I’d say I’m in week 3-4 of flower. She started losing her smaller fans at the very bottom of the stem. I figured it was nothing. But now the yellowing has spread out to the bigger fans.

She’s sitting in a 5 Gallon. Kind soil hot soil, and roots organic. This is supposed to be a water only system and I’ve been giving her just distilled water. Never added nutrients because the hot soil is supposed to have everything it’ll need for its full life cycle. Never bothered with checking ph since I thought I was safe with distilled. She’s sitting under a 3500w autocob. No pests

I just ordered fox farm nutrient trio, ph down and a ph meter. But I don’t think she’s going to make it.. What could it be? Nitrogen deficiency or PH lockout? Or something else.

  2. Incorrect PH level, or nutrient levels. Looks to be lacking nutrition or unable to use due to ph. I don't do soil, so maybe someone else can be more helpful. but I would run water through it and check your ph level of run off. Make sure to calibrate it correctly before use as well. Then if its correct, add some of your nutrients. I would do a light dose to start but it does look like its starving. If the PH is wrong then just try to correct it, if you say your soil has everything it's supposed too. But since you don't have the equipment yet It's really hard to say your best move.Try and be more prepared next time and chalk it up as a learning experience if it doesn't make it. I'd say almost everyone made plenty of mistakes starting out, 9/10 times on the board its always someones PH level wrong, It's not something to be overlooked. Goodluck man

  3. Thanks, I appreciate the reply. I’m thinking I didn’t put the right amount of hot soil. Or maybe using distilled only wasn’t a good idea. Hopefully she pulls out til it comes in. I have another week and a half old critical purple going so I’ll definitely make sure I’m on my game with her. I for sure put the right measurements of hot soil for her and she’s looking good so far. But time will tell. Thanks again.

  4. for sure man, I really wish I could help more, but I have no clue what hot soil is, or much about soil in general. I use R/O water in my system and always add cal mag to it though, but if your soil has everything it needs it shouldnt need the supplements. Let us know how things turn out
