Ive seen every episode. They are terrorists. It is absurd that they can get away with this. I tried to write to Animal Planet to get them to stop supporting this. They have no idea what they are doing which is evident by their destruction of their helicopter, flipping of a dingy, losing of a dingy, etc They tried to say those whalers abducted their crew members when the crew snuck up, jumped on their boat and then they called the media themselves and said "The japanese kidnapped our friends" Not to mention that the captain faked being shot! Why was he wearing a bullet proof vest? Why did no one hear or see any guns? Why didnt he have a bruise? How could a small caliber round be fired that far so accurately? Complete horseshit. This show needs to be cancelled and the terrorists shot at as the pirates they are.
actually, they are protesting the slaughter of whales- protected species none the less- by the japenese for culinary use under the guise of 'scientific research'. Yes they may be a little over the top, but they are fighting to end the destruction man causes to the enviroment

They are allowed to hunt whales for research and they are by law not allowed to waste any of the animal that dies. This international law doesn't really matter,

They are allowed to be researching the whales in the Antarctic waters, just not hunting them purely for food. And those waters belong to no one and certainly not these whackos.
