  2. I prefer dry trimming more than wet trimming, I couldn’t get that grass smell out when I did the wet trim

  3. Wet trimming for me. Leaves are still fresh and easier to find and reach in with my shears.

  5. You put the colas on a screen near where you sit and watch tv and every time a commercial comes on you grab one and trim it even a little neater. Wet leaves fold over and stick to buds. They stick out nicely and easy to see when green. As they dry you can go closer.

  6. Anyone use any of the auto trimmers? I want to get one to knock out 90% of the work and then trim anything missed by hand afterwards.

  7. Dry trim for sure. The leaves just peel right off when dried right, and the smell stays nice and pungent.

  9. I tried one of these, it didn't work very well, so I don't use it anymore.

  10. I've been helping a friend and his auto trimmer chews up the nugs a bit.

  11. ok here is the deal. in a commercial grow situation you want to wet trim or it be impossible to trim all the product .
this is a great item Twister T6 Trimming Machine with Dry or Wet Tumbler better then one of those top spinners that come down . you need to trim fast and furious for many reason . in a personal situation you want to hand trim.
ok trimming wet means cutting branches off before its dry .easier to manage throw it into a machine thats it. can not use a machine if its dry.
trimming dry leave branches on let it dry slower this will make your smokage smell very strong! this is what you want. take the time and hand trim . cut large branches and let them dry do not cut buds from the branches trust me on this . once its totally dry then take the extra time to trim by hand . this will make a HUGE DIFFERENCE in smell smoke. if you think i am full of shit do a side by side see what comes out best for you but please do not for get to post back keep us informed on your decision . edit the machine says you can use it dry do not do this you will lose some sugar. you know when you handle this high quality stuff you see sugar falling off.

  12. I think I'll get me one of those Twister T6's. Have you used it and like it? I suppose one should expect to spend around $2500/3k? Do you think the leaf collector vacuum makes a difference?

  13. Maybe I'm a slow poke. Out of curiosity how long does it take you guys to trim by hand? It feels like it takes for ever...

  15. Noisey and still more fiddling//?

  16. $535 is for the vacuum that attaches to it to collect trim leaf lol. The unit itself is closer to $3,000

  18. That noise you hear is the vacuum pulling away the trim leaf. You'll get that with any vacuum trimmer or any vacuum anything really.
