wet leaves after installing scrog?

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by Undercovrbrothr, May 15, 2011.

  1. I was wondering if anyone can tell me why the plants are perspiring after I installed a scrog.

A lot of the upper leaves are wet

  2. That's from the plants - you need to get a good/better fan blowing across that canopy. Without a good fan on a scrog you can develop mold.

  3. yes , I realize its coming from the plants. I wanted to know why they're doing that now , only after I installed the scrog.

I'll stick in a fan to see if will help. Do you think is it because the leaves are squished together under the screen?

  4. Yeah, more air needs to be going through the canopy - all that moisture building up is due to the lack of air movement. As I said before, without that you can end up with mold problems. And that's a lot more of a fuss than just sticking a fan in there, which you should already have anyways.

  5. already have an exhaust and intake fan. temps are ok, so I'll stick another in there to circulate the air.

    Thanks for the response.
