    Anybody else like westerns?

I prefer the Sergio Leone westerns more than the John Wayne ones, though. Way grittier and raw.
  2. I love the whole Dollars trilogy, Clint Eastwood is such a badass. I'm also not really a fan of John Wayne movies, he's just not hard enough.
  3. I just ordered this film from Amazon...the trailer alone is making me trip balls

    Dead Man starring Johnny Depp

  4. That movie looks really sick man, and it has a soundtrack by Neil Young!
  5. This movie Dead Man is hilarious and badass at the same time

Good God I love this movie
  6. Deadman Rules!

  7. yes yes yes yes yes! One of my favourite movies EVER. Instantly thought of this movie when I saw the thread title!

And Dead Man is AWEOME as well. I love Neil Young doing the soundtrack!

    Westworld is pretty good too
  8. Yes, western movies are the best!

But what disturbed me the most is that hollywood make Indians as enemies in all western movies. Pisses me off and I'm sure that Indians are pissed too. Whatever, that's all in the past.
  9. I watched The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly for the first time a few months ago.

    I was blown away :smoking:
  10. Clint Eastwood got me into westerns. I think it's safe to say he's the Cowboy Badass.
  11. I'm a huge fan of Italian westerns. LIke most people my introduction into Spaghetti's started with the Dollars Trilogy.

QFT. Eastwood makes cowboys look baller, Wayne makes them look kinda douchy.
High Noon is my fave though, classic. fucking lyod bridges.

also, anyone seen any curry westerns? Sholay is a baller movie.
  13. They're making a Gunsmoke movie, I think it's coming out in 2012

I hope they do it justice, I'm a big fan of the radio show
  14. WHY?!
Why can't hollywood make anything slightly original. I hope we never see a Bonanza or Leave it to Beaver movie. OK, so i'd love to see a leave it to beaver movie in all tbh, but still!!!
  15. High Noon
    Epic film

The outlaw is coming back to town on the noon train and everyone's just waiting for the bloodshed to start but they're too afraid to do anything about it

  16. Yeah Westerns are good. Does Blazin' Saddles count?

  17. Sure, it counts

  18. ^ Haha, that's one of my favorite parts.

I'd have to say I like Clint Eastwood's movies better than John Wayne's; I could never get into John Wayne.
