  1. well went and checked the big plots
the 5 foot plant that has the huge stalk busted, is still a vibrant dark green and alive, will it make it if its been alive this long?
everything else has straightened up from the wind damage, no visible problems... have 5 right now that are every bit 5ft 6 5ft 7 . this is the month of stretch from what ive studied
so they should all get a lot bigger between the 24th and the first of july..
lost 8 good plants to deer, despite the dogs being around it. pretty pissed off about that.
now i know regardless of how many .
take the time and money and effort to build good cages. dont care if its 25 or 225.. in the long run you will thank yourself. .i will not ever make that mistake again

  2. if the stalk as broken in half its got no chance ,,But if its snapped and the stalk has still got the bark on the outside of the stalk still intact to the main stems ,you could try using duct tape to bind it up tight with ,,you could take a few leaves of the stalk so if the wind blows theres not so many leaves to catch the wind and be blown around ,,the stalk may just about make it ,but if its completely broken it wont survive ,..it works with smaller stalks so might work with a larger one ,,,no harm in trying to save it is there ,,luck ,.,,mac,

  3. well two main stems branching like a U
and the third (which was snapped in half)
coming up out of the middle of the U
    does that description help??

if the stem as compleatly snapped in half with no bark still connected to the other part of the snapped stem its not going to survive its the outside bark that carries the water and nutrients up the stem ,,A picture of what happened would have been good to see whats happened ,,...mac,
