As long as your well faucet doesn't run through your softner you should be ok usually if u have an outside faucet it doesn't run through the softener Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I would still go with distilled. If I had my g2 [not till december -.-] I would definately just be using distilled because even the rain here has a pH of 4 lmao
Yeah if your water softener uses salts don't use it. Grab it from an outside spigot. I've used distilled water for germinating seeds, but otherwise it seems like a waste of money. That well water probably has plenty of calcium and magnesium, perhaps even sulfur. Unless it is insanely hard - in which case just dilute it with some distilled - just use the well water.
