Just took a hit off my pipe . Almost done putting a epoxy finish on a new pipe .It looks way nice ...... 6 hours between coats one more coat to go . I wanted to get another coat on the pipe before I take off for a hour or so . My shop is a little chilly so I held the pipe over the heater for 3 or 4 minutes . Just wanted to get the pipe warm .. Ok So now I will re- sand half the pipe and start over on the finish . .
Got the piece sanded out again just put second coat on . Well this is sure cutting it close to get the pipe on time to the customer ... I want to put another 2 coats on and then the finish can take 4 or 5 days for the epoxy finish to fully harden up so it can be polished out ...
One of those frustrated moments . Be easier to say the pipe was completed today and delivered . I went to photograph the pipe and the batteries in the camera were dead . I will try to photograph it later because I know the person who receive the pipe from their boss as a gift .
