Weird chest pain and discomfort

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by greeenbean, Jul 1, 2017.

  1. I made this account to post this so I apologize if this is in the wrong place and for the length but I am very concerned about this. I am 18 years old and I have been smoking weed on and off for about 5-6 years and for the last 6 months I have become an everyday smoker. I've never had any issues smoking, always good highs and good experiences from edibles to bongs and even other drugs. However I recently went cliff jumping and landed weird after a 45 foot jump into a lake and suffered chest pain and lower back pain I figured it was strained muscles and was not Initially that concerned about it. Later that night I smoked 2 blunts and a bong wIth friends and later on out of no where had the sensation that I was having a heart attack, weird spasms in chest along with pain and pressure and exclerated heart rate. Friends told me I was fine tried to calm me down for 2 hours while I insisted I go to the emergency room. I went to the doctor the next day and she checked out my pains and said I seemed fine and recommend I see a cardiologist the next day just to be sure. Later that niight I smoked my dab oil pen to see if I would have the pains again and sure enough I had strange sensations in my chest and felt like I was havig a heart attack for 2+ hours. Next day cardiologist assured me my heart was fine and there was nothing wrong with me just "musculoskeletal pain" from the 45 foot cliff jump. That reassured me and I took a day off from smoking for the first time in months and rested in bed to heal my body. yesterday I felt much better and went out with my friends, little to no Chest pain all day and figured I was good to smoke last night. After we got through 2 blunts I had the heart attack sensation again and spent the night curled over trying to calm myself down while everyone had a good time. I really want to know what's causing this, it's ruining my life. Is my high just making my chest pain worse? Or am I getting anxiety about thinking about it? I'm afraid it's never going to go away, I've never experienced weed induced anxiety before and the heart attack symptoms were terrifying. I am able to relax myself for a few moments and then I have another spasm in my chest or experience pain and I begin freaking out again, but this sharp pain and weird sensations in the center of my chest really only occur when I'm high. I've decided to take a nice tolerance break until the soreness from the fall goes away but I'm afraid the pain is going to continue when I resume smoking. Please let me know what you think is wrong with me, I love smoking weed with my friends and I'm terrified I'll never get to enjoy a high again

  2. Paranoia will destroy ya! Give yourself time to heal physically and take it easy. Sounds like you got a taste of panic mode and it has its talons in you. Make extra steps for it, remember it is your fear driving it and try to overcome it without fighting against it too hard. You will be okay but your poor body mang, let it heal! That's a big jump!

  3. I'm afraid to tell you this, but I believe you are going to be the first person in the history of mankind to suffer permanent damage to your body from jumping off a cliff.
