Week 5 flower frost or pm?

  1. This is my 1st grow ever from a few bagseed 1 turned out to be male and got 2 females. I was wondering if these two have powdery mildew or is that all trichromes ? I smelled mold at one point in my tent and noticed it was the wood chips in the medium I am using picked all the ones I could out and mixed the top layer of soil up and havent had the moldy smell for the last two weeks and I have also been dealing with thrips non stop without using any foliar just adding a safers spray to the soil once a day or every 2 days and spraying the tent floor and trays to kill all I can. Tomorow will be the first day of week 5 flower they smell up the whole room but when I take them out seperate smell the budsites has a wierdish smell compared to what I'm smelling in the air which is the reason I think it could be PM but I'm not too sure and dont have a magnifying glass or jewellers loupe, any insight would be greatly appreciated thank you.

    This is Powdery Mildew.
Green Cure to keep it under control. Apply once a week.
Most commonly found on outside plants but the spore is everywhere so inside is very possible.

  4. Well that's good to hear and I dont have a clue just some random bagseed from like 5 years ago I dont even think the stuff it came from was even that good but the smell is proving me wrong and the bigger plant has purple starting on all the budsite leaves in the last 2 days. The smaller plant has more of a gassy kushy smell and the purple one smells odd like smelling a pear or a mango but super strong it's a bit wierd

  5. Can this happen in relatively dry conditions say around 45 to 55 % it goes a bit higher when I put the covers back on the screens of the tent. Thats good it Looks like it's not powdery mildew to Me as I dont see that on any fan leaves some parts are super white like in the pictures but not a faded white like that one. I will probably still try to order some green cure soon probably better to be safe then sorry for if when or not it happens in the future, wouldn't want to be smoking mould!

  6. Yes it can happen at low humidity. Southern California here and we run 15-45% most of the time.
