    Your kinda at same grow stage as my auto flower, this is my first grow to, I have them under a 1000w light, I’m just wondering if I should do any trimming to the lower parts of the plant before I get to far into flower, is that something you did ?

    You're under a misconception if you think that is a 1000w light. :)

    No I know, I would be curious to know what it’s actually putting out, I have 2 of them. But I figured I’d be better off buying the 1000 instead of the 600 you know.

    I would like to try a different type of light on the next go around just to experience the difference. I’ve heard led might not be as good for the flowering stage so we will see this is my first time lol. What do you use ?

    What is the manufacturer and model of your light?
    I use a NextLight Mega.

    The light only pulls 158 watts - good for maybe one plant. You might consider Quantum Boards if you're considering a change. Good luck with your choice.

    You have to look at it as a an investment. My first harvest with that light I harvested 22oz. off of 3 plants which more than paid for it. If I would have had to buy that much it would have cost me over $5000. Unfortunately people don't look at it that way.

    That’s why I’m learning to grow my own weed, that’s was the only logical way to explain it to the wife, it’s a long term investment and hopefully it will

    Oh I agree 100%. One must definitely fully invest in their grow to optimize it! Get the most from it. I bet that light does the job very well! Still is a lot of money for one fixture to outfit the space it suggests. One day maybe, one day.

    I bought this light before QB's. You can get a good set up with QB's for about $1 per watt. When and if I ever have to replace my Mega it will be QB's. :)

    Yes I trimmed it just a little so the nodes would get more light
