my plants almost 3 weeks old and its starting to smell like dank. there ?leaves? growing from between the stem and the branches. check out this picture and tell me what what you think. does the smell mean its a female?
Once you are about a month or more in veg you will begin to see male/female pre-flowers. That can help you determine sex, but the real way to be 100% is to switch that plant into flowering 12/12 and watch for a single calyx with pistils coming out of it (female) or a ball sac (male)
how do i get the stem to grow thicker? leaves are growing in wayyy quickly and my plants gettin top heavy. please and thanks
Turn a fan on it, preferably a oscillating fan. Put the fan on a setting that makes the plant jiggle a little when it goes by IE not being blown over when it passes lol make sure to rotate the plant a little everyday as well, in my opinion, it helps because the plant is feeling a breeze from different sides, kind of like working out your left or right bicep in a way It's important to remember to watch for wind burn on your plants, while it is a little hard to do, at this stage of growth it can happen if you don't pay attention.
