High everyone just thought I'd share my wee big buds with you. I don't know if you count day 1 as the day they germinate, the day they're planted or the day they break out the soil but these ladies have been out the soil for nearly 7 days. Had a slightly high pH for a couple days which I have just about equalised and also a bit of stretching which seems to have subsided now too. There hasn't been too much growth over the last day or 2… is it happening beneath the surface or should I be concerned? Is there a rough timeline to expect more sets of leaves to sprout? And above all, are they looking healthy enough? Again, any feedback would be great! Cheers!
That is exactly the way I propped up my very first seedling! 'twas a monster, in the end. Your plants are lanky because they do not have enough light. G'luck!
Oh, my... that was fifty-one weeks ago... you think I can remember? Someone gave me a hermie seed from a Lemon something; her name was Laverne (you never forget your first). I planted the seed in the cup because I thought it looked cute... and plopped it on the window sill. 'Twas lanky before I realized that outside would be better. I, then, became intrigued with growing it. I dunno... a week old? I brought her inside and raised her under lights along with a cutting. I used 216W of T5. I tried an LED but it didn't work out well for me. I have, since, settled on 432W of T5 for a .6 x 1.2 Meter space.
Interesting. I've been reading about t5s since another guy on here recommend them, I might get myself one for next time!
