Weed will no longer be called a drug...

  1. If and when weed gets legalized, will it still be referred to as a drug or as weed? Alcohol is a known drug but isn't called that, so will there be another substance extracted from the "drug list"?

For example, No drugs, alcohol, or weed on school property. Violators will be punished. Something to that effect.

    Just wondering -__-

  2. It is a drug and it will still be called a drug.

  3. Yeah, even though alcohol is a drug it isn't technically classified as one. I was only wondering whether marijuana legalization would make weed have its own classification, like alcohol.

  4. I doubt it, and yes alcohol IS classified as a drug. Common usage in language does not equal classification.

  5. And that's that.

  6. good question.

Either they will finally stop saying alcohol and drugs and start saying just drugs. I never understood why they separate alcohol and drugs? Propaganda i guess. To make you think alcohol is ok and everything else is bad.

or they will say alcohol, cannabis and drugs.
