Weed to Grow Economy by $44 Billion Per Year

  1. [​IMG] According to the latest report published by Marijuana Business Daily in their 2016 Factbook, the marijuana industry is set to annually pump up to $44 billion into U.S. coffers by 2020. To put that into perspective, that’s more than the GDP of Serbia and close to the annual revenues of Fortune 500 companies such as Lockheed Martin and FexEx.

    This year the report said that recreational and medical marijuana sales are expected to grow as much as 26 percent to total more than $4 billion, with the overall impact on the U.S. economy in excess of $17 billion.
