Hey. So a bit of a true story. I had some weed, it was Leda Uno from KC Brains. I grew a bunch of it in my basement and it was a pretty good yield and an excellent lemony smoke.... but I digress. I decided to move to Japan where I remained for 6 years. In anticipation of my move, I stuck a 1/2 ounce or so of weed in a mason jar, screwed the lid on nice and snug and left for Japan. I had placed the jar in a dark, secure and cool area of my parent's basement. So fast forward, I returned home for a visit more than 2 years later. It may have been closer to 3 years actually. Actually, I moved June 1, 2005 and returned home for Christmas 2007 so you do the math. I remembered I had a bit of a stash and was keen to try it. I had quit cold turkey and not smoked for 2 1/2 years so was just a bit eager. I found the jar, cracked it open, had a smell, saw there was no evidence of mold, and proceeded to light a bit of a pinner. I can attest that weed remains potent, if stored well, for a long time. That pinner got me super stoned. Part of that was my lack of tolerance but lets face it.... stoned is stoned. The key is dark, cool and airtight. If you have a few bucks, go on Amazon and pick up a few packets of the humidity packs. They are amazing and last a long time.
