Weed sandwich (in a bowl)

    My friend is an evil genius...

    Went round to his and he sat me down without saying a word. Pulled out his bong, bag o' weed, his grinder and a bag of hash. I was intrigued...

    "I call this the weed sandwich" he says. He takes out a smallish nug, maybe half a gram, cuts it in half with a razor blade, and packs it in the bowl, flat side up.

    "Now the patty". He takes out a small blob of nice sticky hash, rolls it up into a ball, then flattens it, placing the disc on top of the weed. "And a bit of seasoning" sprinkling a generous layer of kief on top of that from his grinder, before putting the other half of the nug on top (flat side down obviously).

    It should not have been as good as it was. I'm only 60% sure I'm actually typing in English right now to be honest.

    So I ask you GC, have you ever tried this? What crazy bowl constructions do you use?

    I'm glad that I'm not the only one that does this.. I actually just took a "snapper sandwich" about 30 minutes ago haha

    I feel like the name salad is more appropriate for bowls that are full of different types of bud.. sort of like a "mixed greens" salad. However, no one said you can't add some hash on top and call em croutons, or add some hash oil and call it dressing haha :smoke:

    I would have just ground the weed, put it all on the bottom and top with hash, then cover it with kief... Won't make a difference.. Your idea just sounded more appealing because you know we're all high and you're talking about sandwiches...

    I actually feel like it does make a difference whether or not you cover your hash/kief with more buds because the buds on top act as a barrier for the concentrates, protecting it from a direct flame. If you carefully light the greens on top just enough so that it catches fire, then pack your bowl down with some sort of pick/dabber to spread the fire, your concentrates will ignite without being completely destroyed by a direct flame. In my opinion, this is the best way to smoke hash/kief out of the bong

    Omg Someone else who understands!!!! This man is correct

    Thc burns at a lower temperature than the direct flame of a lighter will produce, therefore barrier=more thc properly vaporized rather than lost upon contact

    that sounds delicious, i usually construct my salad bowls like so
    small layer of weed, lots of kief, small layer of weed

    I dunno man... a salad is a bunch of random greens tossed into a bowl generally heaping above the rim, aka a bowl with multiple strains loaded far beyond the bowls limit... thats how its been around here forever haha

    i dont do sandwich bowls though.. hash goes on top cause i dont want the cherried weed cherrying my hash and frying it all up!!! I call what we used to do here (back when we played little games and shit lol, now it would just be a nice bowl) a desert bowl.... weed on the bottom.. however much you want pretty much to plug that shit.. then layers of kief and hash like sedement and sand, then you gotta smooth the kief out flat on top so its like a fucking desert

    desert bowls.... mmmmm
