Weed potentiation

  1. I've heard many different things that people say "potentiate" or make weed stronger.
     
    But I don't mind to hear more.
     
    List any "potentiators" or methods you believe make weed stronger.

  4. Actually I hear if you eat a mango 30 minutes before smoking that it gives you a better high. Of course that's all weedology anyway
     
  5. you want omega 3 if your looking for a better high mangos just taste really fuckin good
     
  6. Mangos also have large amounts of terpenes, specifally and famously myrcene. Supplementing terpenes for buds that might be deficient in terpenes can definitely enhance the high.
     
  7. I've heard the mango thing but have come to learn that mangoes are relatively low in myrcene and that lemongrass oil or hops are better substitutions. 
    I live by fish oil and take 2 fish oil pills 40 minutes to an hour before every time I smoke and wanna get really blazed.
     
  8. Over ripe mangos have a substantial amount of myrcene/
     
    But hops are better, not sure how you would eat lemongrass oil, unless you use it with your cooking, but that could ruin the actual terpene count.
     
    And omega 3 does not have an immediate effect for smoking. You'd have to be supplementing omega 3 every day for weeks, up to a month, before it helps with your cannabinoid receptors. It's basically repairing them. But stuff like that doesn't happen in 30 minutes. Uptake and use of lipids is a slow process.

    I don't know where but I read even an overripe mango does not contain nearly enough myrcene to have any effect.
     
    other sources could be wrong.
     
    Taking the fish oil isn't so much a preload for the weed but more of a reminder for me to take my fish oil regularly.
     
    I'm running low and have a hard time getting more around here and made this post in effort to help people like myself
    I also was looking for ideas on potentiation because I live in a townhome complex and it's rather hard to smoke large amounts right out in the open. I can't smoke inside either because my neighbors have and will complain about the smell and ultimately call the cops

  11. i have noticed a better high after taking omega 3 but it may be placebo ill have to pay attention to it more next time as for mango's i love eating them but have never notice a change in my high when eating them before but i mean even if they don't do anything mango's are dank as fuck i think everyone can agree on that
     
  12. Placebo. Omega 3 repairs. But only when taking consistently

    And if you're buds have good terpene content then you won't notice much of an effect from supplenting terpenes in any way
     
  13. I wish I had a vaporizer still. All past attempts with vaporizers Were not good. I Got High But it was hard to adjust the heat and what not so i didnt burnt. I had stir áticos and everything and tried every temp But just couldnt get it right. Ive heard most temp gauges are false.
    I had trouble with smell at my old house and apartment with a vaporizer I had a volcano knockoff and a wooden Box vaporizer i csnt remember But it was whip style

  14. If they were knockoffs, it could have been the heating element being wildly inaccurate and inconsistent.
     
    You need to hold your hits in much longer too when it comes to vapor.
     
    A good vaporizer unit is suggested for good results.
     
  15. I have heard from a friend who smokes daily that storing weed for longer makes it more potent. I can't say I have tested this but he swears by it.
     
  16. My advice would be t breaks, ediles and doing yoga breathwork and meditation. Makes it easier to connect to god

    On topic, not much you can do to add any potency. I mean the more you handle the bud the more trychromes it's gonna lose. If you want to make the absolute most out of your bud make an extract or tincture or edibles. All great options that get you fucked up!
