Im growing a few flowers from bagseed and i noticed lately some of the foliage on the plant have this weird sheen on them. I thought it was a light burn issue so i raised my light now to 30 inch away from canopy . A couple days went by and the issue still look the same and saw more of a crackling appearance occur. I water with compost tea and use fish fert , worm castings, alfalfa, cal mag and molasses mix. Also have an humidifier in the room keeping rh at 55 and the temp remain at 72f. Are the nutes in the water making my soil hot or what im pretty confused at this point lol but wont stop to rest . Any clues ?
Looks like the plant is getting a bit too much mg imo. If you are watering with tap water, cal mag isn’t always really needed. I typically just add lime to my mix and never need extra. Too “hot” ie. too much nitrogen would burn, typically showing first with yellow tips and leaf edges.
