Weed keeps drying out?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by AsthmaticStoner, Mar 24, 2013.

  1. So I keep my bud stashed in a mason jar. But it seems that over a period of time (roughly a week) my weed becomes very noticeably dry. To the point where I can just pinch the bud and it breaks apart.

What's causing this? Could it be the jar? And what can I do to prevent it from drying out? (orange peel, potato, or silica gel might work?)

  2. Put a piece of apple or orange peels or any type of fruit for about 3-4 hours. You'll notice a HUGE fucken difference. Don't leave it for too long, you don't want it to get moldy. I forgot a big piece of apple in a baggie with my bud for a day and a half, didn't do any damage became very moist and pretty though.

Also it's gonna hit much smoother.

  3. If your weed isn't dry,can you do that ? Will I notice a change or not really

  4. Yes, you can always do it and it does make a difference, especially smoking by joint or bowl. It doesn't change the potency, it just feels much better on the throat. However since it doesn't burn as much you can take bigger hits and get higher.
